University of Bologna Research Unit

The University of Bologna Research Unit has several skills in the Information and Communication Technology fields, and in particular in the Telecommunication Area. The main expertise of the RU covers several aspects of communications and networking, including Wireless communications, Satellite Communications, Optical Network Infrastructures, Radio Resource Management, Link adaptation, Cross-layer techniques, Joint Computing and Communication resource management and orchestration, Delay-Disruption-Tolerant Networking, Software Defined Networking and Network Function Virtualization, Smart City services and scenarios.
